The Journey of Khazina e noor
Khazina e Noor written and published by Samia Naz Iqbal
The poet of this book is fluent in the language of urdu, inspired by the love and passion for our beloved Prophet Muhammad (sallallaho alai wasalam), set out on a stimulating, spiritual and uplifting journey.
A journey of the soul, enlightened and overwhelmed with beautiful poetic words in grace, praise and in high esteem of the Prophet ((sallallaho alaiyhey wasallam). Poetry formed in deep meaning and understanding of the magnificent existence of Prophet Muhammad ((sallallaho alaiyhey wasallam).
In 1994 Samia Naz Iqbal wrote the very first naat of her book
"Madiney ko jaouN yeh armaan hai, Muhammad ((sallallaho alaiyhey wasallam) pay dil mera qurbaan hai"
In 2007 the book was published and by the Grace of Almighty Allah (subhan wata allah) and the blessings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ((sallallaho alaiyhey wasallam) achieved a great success and response.
Samian Naz Iqbakl compiled a total of 84 naats of whcih you will find 13 are written in punjabi.
The title Khazina e Noor (treasure of light) was chosen as the poet felt every word, every letter uttered by her in poetry is a noor (enlightment). Therefore the book holds a treasure of enlightment.
The glossy cover of the book has an eye catching illustration of the guNbad e khazra illuminated with blue light in the background and quoted with a heart felt verse by the poet
"Yaad e Ahmed sey lo lagaouN maiN, baqi duniya ko bhool jaouN maiN, bhool jaaiy mujhey mera aalam, bas Muhammad ((sallallaho alaiyhey wasallam) ko yaad aaouN maiN"
From cover to cover the entire book has been specially designed with soothing patterns and colours, the urdu layout on every glossy page makes it clear and easy for the reader. To signify the closing pages of the book the poet ended with selected verses from "qaseeda burda shareef" ending with a picture of mehrabs as the back cover of the book.
