Naat Rang Edition 17 page 3
This particular edition has been dedicated in honour of the late Imam Sharaf Ud Deen Busairi (R.A). A writer of Arabic Poetry.
The first section of “Naat Rang” edition 17 is titled “DHANAK”
It contains Iltija (Request in the form of poetry) written by Hafiz Ur Rehman.
A title called Our Prophet Sale Allah Wale Wasalam in poetry written by Imam Sharaf Ud Deen and translated into a Manzoum Tarjama (a poem in Urdu)
Ibtadaya (Editorial Article) is carried out by Sabih Rehmani.
The second section is titled “Maqalaat O Mazameen” (Researched Articles & Essays)
This section consists of 7 pieces of work which are all analysed and based on naat.
An additional eight is dedicated to the corner of Saleem Kauser by Sabih Rehmani. This corner holds some of the best poetry ever written in praise of Masjid e Nabwi and Sehnai Haram. In light of the corner Sabih Rehmani stated that although we have referred to this as the poetic corner (Gosh e Saleem) it doesn’t hold just that but in our eyes its reverence is much more because this poet has embarked on a spiritual journey to the holy pilgrimage and thus writes with such passion. The Goshe Saleem (poetic corner) holds a total of 13 poems.
One article out of the seven has been written by Gohar about the four poets of District Raheem Yaarkhan in Pakistan of which he himself is the fifth poet. Gohar wrote about their poetry and their talent. Dr Asih Kamali, Naeem Siddiqui and Dr Rafi Ud Deen Hashmi have written quotes on Gohar’s poetry and praising his talent.

2. The second article has been written by Dr Gafoor Shah Qasim on the Naatiya poet Malk Manzoor Hussain Manzoor.
3. The third article is by Shah Misbah on the Naatiya poet Rehman Kiyani known as Shayir Jihad.
4. Professor Gulam Rasool wrote an article about Naatiya poet Hanif Nazish Qadri.

How Naat or Hamd Kalaam should be written and recited in high reverence. The level of respect a Naat holds and the mannerism carried out when performing naat. This gathering was hosted by Professor Mohammed Feroz Shah and was suggested by the editor of Naat Rang Karachi Syed Sabih Rehmani. Many honourable and highly intellectual people were invited to this meeting i.e. Scholors, Judges, Writers, Poets and Professors. (a total of 9 people).
