Hazrat Jibrail [Alayh Salam] once came to Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and said "Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) has given me the knowledge to count every leaf on earth, every fish in the sea, every star in the sky and every particle of sand on earth, but there's only one thing I cant count." Prophet Muhammd (S.A.W) asked, "What is it?" Jibrail(A.S) replied, "When one of Your (S.A.W) Ummati recites Durood or Salaam to You (S.A.W), the blessings Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) showers upon him become impossible for me to count." SubhanAllah Sayyiduna Abu Dardah ( Razi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu ) reported: the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "Whoever recites durood on Me in the morning ten times and in the evening ten times, for him shall be My intercession on the day of Qiyamah." "By Him in whose Hands My life is, none of you will have faith till he loves Me more than his father and children." -- Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ), narrated by Abu Huraira (RaziAllahu Ta'ala Anhu) اللهم صلي وسلم علي سيدنا محمد صلى الله على سيدنا محمد و على آله و صحبه أجمعين May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala guide us all to become true Ashiqan-e-Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and Ghulaman-e-Mustafa صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ---- the path of success in this life and the hereafter
