“Na`t” in poetry, is the name of full love and attachment of a poet in totality of his existence with the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّی اللہُ عَلیۡہِ وَآلِہ وَسَلَّم) and this bliss cannot be earned. Rather it is endowed by that love itself and this honour comes to the lot of those persons who are really fortunate.
Sabih Rahmani is one of those fortunate persons who have been blessed with this circumstance in the matter of saying “Na`t”. He gets the subjects for this “Na`t” from the love of the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّی اللہُ عَلیۡہِ وَآلِہ وَسَلَّم) and expresses them with budding words, attracting isti`arat and tashbihat. For this reason h is “Na`t” are full of effectiveness. Another thing that makes him distinct from others in the matter of “Na`t” saying is the respect of the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّی اللہُ عَلیۡہِ وَآلِہ وَسَلَّم) and awareness of the place of messengership. He knows the manners to remain vigilantly respectful in the Court of Muhammad , the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّی اللہُ عَلیۡہِ وَآلِہ وَسَلَّم). He is fully to express it. His “Na`t” are free from both extremes. It is certain that this skill of “Na`t” saying will elevate him to a high rank of “Na`t” saying and in this way he will be successful in both the worlds. I wish his “Na`t” may remain full with this enlightening warmth (soz) and effectiveness (ta’thir).
