“Amongst the requirements of composition of a Na`t (Na`t-goi/نعت گوئی), the taste and order have got fundamental importance. The taste of good poetry which is a guarantee of poetical peculiarities and artistic qualities and the order in the matter of expression which is the means and reference of conveyance of passions and feelings which is the soul of good poetry and especially the Na`tiya poetry.
Worthy of greetings are those poets who have been endowed with the manner of composition of a Na`t (Na`t-goi/نعت گوئی) of the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّی اللہُ عَلیۡہِ وَآلِہ وَسَلَّم). Sabih Rahmani, the young Na`t composer (نعت گو) possesses a disticnt status and identity. He is acquainted with the manner of Na`t composition (نعت گوئی) along with the fine taste of poetry. His Na`tiyah poetry is not much old but in such short time, his na`t goi has drawn the attention of the readers. In the matter of Na`t, he has the consciousness of the seerah of the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّی اللہُ عَلیۡہِ وَآلِہ وَسَلَّم) along with his modern accent and expression. While stating the rank, message, conduct, attributes and virtues of the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّی اللہُ عَلیۡہِ وَآلِہ وَسَلَّم), he keeps in his view and maintains full regard of all requirements of respect which are essential for na`t goi.
The Na`t composition (نعت گوئی) of Sabih Rahmani has in its potential vast possibilities. There is reflection of freshness and politeness in the selection of context and in the manner of its expression. The rareness of his tone and the pleasant manner of his expression has made his Na`t composition (نعت گوئی) distinct from his contemporaries. Rather, these qualities have brought him a prominent and distinct status among the senior Na`t composer (نعت گو) poets. May he live long to advance the cause of Na`t.(Amin).
